Kevin Grimes is an attorney in private practice with Grimes & Reese in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Prior to returning to private practice, Kevin started the legal department at Melaleuca where he worked for three and a half years.
Kevin received his undergraduate degree from The Colorado College in 1982, and his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in 1985. Immediately thereafter, he spent four years with the U.S. Army JAG Corps. In 1989, he moved to Idaho where he worked with the firm of Evans Keane in a varied corporate and litigation practice. In 1992, he joined Melaleuca, Inc., where he started its Legal Department and served as General Counsel. He left Melaleuca in 1995 to start a practice specializing in the legal needs of MLM and direct selling companies.
Perhaps the single most unique and important aspect of the talents and experience Kevin brings to the table is that, prior to joining the industry as an attorney, he was a distributor for two large network marketing organizations, Amway and Nikken, and built his last organization up to a group volume of over $40,000 per month. Because of his extensive in-house corporate background, as well as his experiences as a network marketing distributor, Kevin has an unparalleled sense of circumspection regarding the entire direct sales industry.
